2008/2009 Employment Opportunities:

Oak Ridge Christian Academy is a non-profit Christian school organization representing Jesus Christ within the community. Personnel must demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and to the Bible as God’s inerrant Word. All personnel must be active members of a local Christian church and maintain a lifestyle based on biblical standards of conduct. Full-time Teachers: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with appropriate hours or be degreed and state certified in the area in which they teach.

Pre-Kindergarten (4yr. old): Must have job-appropriate experience and skills.
Lower School (Kindergarten – 6th): Must have at least 24 hours of elementary education.
Upper School (7th -9th): Must have at least 24 hours in the area in which they teach.

Full-time Positions Available for 2008-2009:

• 5 & 6th Grade English & History
• 4th Grade Teacher

Part-time Teachers: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 12 hours in the area in which they teach if they teach 20 hours or more a week. Part-time positions of less than 20 hours require high school diploma and job-appropriate skills and experience.

Part-time Positions Available for 2008-2009:

• 7th-9th Grade Latin [with possibility of Lower School (3rd -6th)]
• MDO 2's Teacher - Tuesday & Thursday's 8:30-3:00
• Librarian

Staff Positions: Applicants must have job-appropriate skills and education.

Staff Positions Available for 2008-2009:

• None

Application Process:

1. Complete the 2008 Teacher Application Form and return it to our church office.
2. Deliver the Pastor Recommendation Form to your Pastor. They must return it to us by mail or fax.
3. Complete and sign the Reference Release Authorization and return it with your completed application.
4. Once we have received your complete application (including references) we will determine if an interview is
    necessary and contact you to schedule the interview.
