Accreditation & Memberships
Oak Ridge Christian Academy is accredited through the Accreditation Commission of the Texas Association of Baptist Schools (ACTABS) since the 2004-2005 school year. As of the Fall of 2010, The Academy is has received accreditation for Kindergarten through 10th Grade. As our accreditation extends to new grades on a probationary basis for one year, our 11th Grade will be fully accredited in the Spring of 2011. We plan to add and receive accreditation for a grade each year until we graduate our first Senior class in the spring of 2012.
The Academy is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 1992, as well as the Texas Association of Baptist Schools (TABS) and the Sothern Baptist Association of Christian Schools (SBACS). In 2008 The Academy sought and received membership to the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) and in 2009 received membership to the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS).
