Student Activities

The purpose of the extracurricular program of Oak Ridge Christian Academy is threefold.  The first priority is to honor Christ through all extracurricular events, particularly above group or individual accomplishments. Secondly, those participating in extracurricular activities will be encouraged to develop the character of Christ through perseverance, endurance, adverse situations, putting the good of the group ahead of personal good, and commitment to excellence. Finally, the program strives to empower students to better utilize the gifts given to them to the glory of God through an assortment of extracurricular programs.

 

LOWER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Lower School students(PreK - 6th Grade) have the opportunity to participate in the Spelling Bee, Speech Meet, Math Olympics and Band.

 

The Lower School also performs various music programs throughout the year.

UPPER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

 

Upper School students(7th and above) have the opportunity to participate in the Spelling Bee, Speech Meet, Math League, Science Fair and Band.


Clubs – Chess club meets every Tuesday morning from 7:00-8:00AM..
